WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER A HALO® SESSION?

After the Sciton HALO®, you may experience a warm sensation in the skin for an hour after the session ends. We apply a cooling mask for you in the office to remove any discomfort.

Skin should stay protected for at least 24 hours after a HALO® session, as solar radiation can cause damage to newly treated areas. Facial treatments will typically result in “bronzing” after two or three days, then some peeling can occur.

As the old skin flakes away, a newer, smoother, more even layer is revealed underneath. Patients should feel free to resume their typical daily activities after about 3 days. Your skin will continue to improve in the following weeks and months as collagen levels rise providing a more sturdy, flexible framework in the deeper layers of your skin.
