Ultherapy®
Model
Ultherapy
- Ultrasound treatment to tighten the lower face especially along the jawline & below the chin
- Non-surgical, non-invasive
- No downtime
Ultherapy is clinically shown to tighten, firm, tone, contour and rejuvenate skin and deeper tissues to help naturally restore a more youthful appearance. Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to firm & tighten existing collagen and stimulate new natural collagen production. Results are visible by 3 months but can continue to improve for up to 6 months.
How does Ultherapy work?
Ultherapy harnesses the power of ultrasound energy to non-invasively lift and tighten skin. With just one 45 minute treatment, the lifting process starts, and the effect will build gradually over the course of a few months as weak and aging collagen is replaced with new and stronger collagen.
During Ultheray, ultrasound is micro-focused below the skin’s surface to generate heat, leaving the skin’s surface unaffected. Deep tissue is heated, causing immediate collagen contraction and stimulation, while initiating aggressive collagen rebuilding. Over the next 3 months, the response stimulates long term tissue remodeling and leads to further tightening and lifting.

How does Ultherapy differ from laser treatments?
Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy – which has unique properties to allow it to reach depths not matched by any other non-invasive cosmetic device. The ultrasound simulates collagen production in the skins foundation, resulting in a clinically significant lift of tissue over 2-3 months.Lasers rely on energy that connot reach the deeper layers beneath the skin, and only treat the superficial surface.

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy?
A good candidate is someone with early laxity whose skin just started to feel less firm along the jawline and under the chin. Typically, those age 40-60 who just noticed their lower face isn’t as “tight” as it was a few years ago.
Ultherapy is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, but many people are not ready for surgery or don’t want it at all. There are also younger people who want to stay ahead of their aging process and maintain their youthful lower face and neck. -
Are there any side effects?
There may be slight redness that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment. Some patients have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

How many treatments do I need?
The majority of patients only need one treatment, however, some may benefit from more than one treatment depending on their degree of laxity to start. After your first session, you will maintain the result with one treatment every 1- 1 years.
